We started concepting, designing, and building our first two model E-Bikes, the Model C and the Model S. We then added “light” versions, slightly more simple, the Model X and the Model Y, and by request from our more petite customers, the Model M, known as the mini – With 24” wheels, It’s so cute! And after much planning and designing, we introduced our sturdier Model R, our rugged E-Bike which comes standard with our suspension fork. We design and build all our models in the good old USA – right here in Newport Beach, California, a great place to test E-Bikes!
EBC Batteries
One thing every E-Bike needs is a battery. Batteries make the world go round for an E-Bike. While our batteries are globally sourced, we partner with several suppliers, choosing the best battery suited to each of our models.
On our Model Y, for example, we install the battery/s in the front basket, one by one, built by hand including the wiring, testing, and sealing, whereas, on our Model R, the battery is built inside the downtube of the frame. For Model C, Model S, and Model X, the battery case is external for a more traditional E-Bike style, making for easy access.

Partnering with worldwide teams, EBC curates our E-Bike parts mostly from Asia-Pacific & Europe. Not only are our parts sourced from the very best, as too are our accessories, but our basket liners are also handmade by a family-owned business while our wooden fenders and chain guards are designed and handcrafted in our own Newport Beach, California factory, along with the rest of our E-Bikes.
