Winter is here. But that doesn’t mean you can’t still enjoy riding your E-Bike. Adventuring during the colder months can be just as beautiful as when it’s warm and bright.
You can enjoy all the wonders of winter as you cruise by on your electric bike. However, riding in winter demands us to be more attentive compared to other months.
Here are a few things to remember when riding in the winter:
- Ride slowly on roads that may be slippery due to snow or rain. Or hop off and walk with your E-Bike until you come to safer terrain.
- Wear a Helmet (Always!) Check out our custom helmets, they come with front and rear lights and magnetic buckle for safety.
- If it’s pouring with rain, it’s not the day to take your E-Bike out for a spin. Snuggle up inside and wish the rain away because riding in heavy rain is never safe.
- Securely cover your E-Bike using a bike cover when it’s not in use and charge your battery every 2-3 months to prevent it going to sleep mode.
- The best way to store the battery is by simply removing it from the bike and keeping it in a cool, dry place. Charge your battery inside your home, especially when there are extreme weather conditions.
Just because the cold weather has set in doesn’t mean you can’t continue exploring on your E-Bike. Just remember, this time of year requires extra care when we’re out riding the roads.
