Good Exercise Habits with Your E-Bike

The best bit? You’ll go further and see more on your E-Bike because you’ve got more power reserves to call on!

Summer is the perfect time to start riding your E-Bike to and from work or to pick up dinner to mix up your routine. Use pedal assist and the throttle on your EBC bike to control how much exercise you get. Let’s face it, you might not want to break a sweat before meeting colleagues or friends! Riding frequently, even when using higher levels of pedal assist, gets your body moving and your heart rate up. The more you ride, the better your cardiovascular fitness will become, and the easier you will find it to pedal because your resistance will increase.

E-Bike Riders Actually Ride More

According to a survey of nearly 1,800 E-Bike owners in North America, 55 percent of respondents said they rode daily or weekly before buying an E-Bike. After purchasing an electric bike, that number soared to 91 percent!

It makes sense – even if you’re super fit, your muscles still get fatigued. Getting back on your bike can feel like a chore when you’re tired. An E-Bike enables you to continue riding while giving your exhausted legs a rest when they need it. You can also go faster and further, which makes longer trips more attractive, even when you’re pressed for time.

For those who weren’t frequent riders before, E-Bikes open up a whole new world. While you may not be used to riding 5-10 miles at a time, with electric assist you can easily cover these distances – which is a great way to build endurance and confidence. The survey mentioned above also found that 94 percent of non-cyclists rode daily or weekly after getting an E-Bike.

So, arrange to meet friends, change your date night, get your kids E-Bike s to teach them good habits from a young age. E-Bikes are ready for every adventure – and might actually provide the impetus you need to get active and stay active!
