IT’S PRIDE MONTH!
EBC is ready to celebrate all the wonderful LGBTQ+ riders in our community, and we’d love for you to join us.
If you’re looking for fun and creative ways to support pride month, we’ve got some ideas for you…
Attend a pride parade. Pride parades are iconic, and one of the best ways to bring people together. What better place to ride your E-Bike. See if there’s a pride parade happening in your local area and what you can do to help with running or organization.
Volunteer or donate to a local LGBTQ+ charity. It’s likely these organizations will be running fundraisers during Pride month, so do what you can to get involved!
Spend time educating yourself. Giving money and providing our services only go so far, we need to understand the meaning and message behind our activism. Take time this month to educate yourself on the history of LGBTQ+ communities.
Spend time discussing what you can do to make spaces LGBTQ+ inclusive. Make a change if needed, and refresh your friendship groups, corporations, and communities to ensure LGBTQ+ people feel comfortable and valued.
Don’t forget to show your support with EBC’s signature “rainbow” style: decorate your electric bike! Whether you’re locking your bike up to enjoy the parade, cruising the beach, or delivering supplies for local activism, wear and ride the LGBTQ+ rainbow flag with pride.
