You researched different manufacturers and models, you designed it in your favorite color – with the accessories you wanted, you waited patiently for it to arrive, and now you love taking it for a spin. So how can you make sure that your E-Bike doesn’t become a statistic? We have a few different options for you to consider.
Anti-Theft Alarm
Our EBC Anti-Theft Alarm is an optional extra when purchasing your bike – but it’s really a necessity if you’re going to be parking your bike in public for long periods of time. It works just like a car alarm with a remote. Just press the lock button to arm it – and if someone decides to try to move your bike, it will give a warning alarm bell before sounding the full alarm. Trust us… this is loud enough to draw unwanted attention to the thief. To disarm the alarm, simply press the unlock button.

Bike Lock
In addition to the Anti-Theft Alarm, we recommend getting a bike lock. We have a few different locks to choose from:
To make our bike locks as safe as possible, tests are routinely carried out to replicate possible theft conditions. The EBC Chain Lock Steel-O-Chain 8900 passed the ice spray test and the OSIMZ Moscow test with flying colors. The EBC Steel O Chain Lock has security level 8 and has two additional test seals to its name. Its 8 mm thick square chain has a fabric sleeve that prevents damage to your paintwork. Made of specially hardened steel, this lock provides good protection at medium theft risk and is recommended for securing good, medium value bicycles.
