All EBC electric bikes come with a standard seat post that’s designed for riders up to 7 feet tall and 350 lbs… But one of the options we offer when you’re designing your bike is a Satori or Suntour Suspension seat post. Both available in black and silver, the suspension posts have been engineered to provide more comfort and performance than our standard post.
Seat posts are one of the most overlooked bike options – and they shouldn’t be. Along with your tires, they’re the key to making your ride as comfortable as possible. The suspension seat post reduces road vibrations and absorbs bigger impacts from rough trails thanks to their vertical suspension. If you’re designing your bike to be as comfortable as possible (so you can stay on it for longer!), then you should definitely consider adding a suspension post.
Smooth Operator
The unique, patented parallelogram design of the Suntour Suspension seat post allows for small bump compliance to ensure your ride is smooth and comfortable. With 50 mm of travel (almost 2 inches) and an internal coil spring with adjustable preload, the Suntour Suspension seat post is rated for riders between 140 and 180 lbs. These weight guidelines are to prevent excessive wear and tear on the moving components of the seat post.
Sasha, EBC Owner raves “Well worth the extra money to cush your tush! Works very well and adds a very soft, but sturdy suspension to your EBC bike!”
